TDT/WDT inspection for Feldbinder trailers

Trailer-specific inspection requirements

Stainless steel tanks (304L/316L): Visual inspection (VT) + PT if cracks suspected. Pre-inspection cleaning and passivation. Ra measurement for food-grade trailers.

Aluminium tanks: Pressure test 1.25 × MOP. NDT of circumferential welds (VT + PT if suspected).

KIP tipping trailers: Additional inspection of hydraulic tipping cylinder (oil tightness), main pivot bearing, tipping base structure.

Preparation process at PHS Magnum

1. Pre-inspection service: internal VT, PT if needed, wall thickness UT measurement
2. Safety valve and manometer check
3. Documentation compilation
4. Passivation (if required) with protocol
5. Coordination of TDT inspector appointment
