Common failure modes

  • Worn rubber lining — when the rubber deteriorates, the clamp no longer grips the spigot securely; replace the complete clamp.
  • Wrong size — a clamp that is too large will not prevent rotation; one that is too small cannot be fitted. Match to the Storz coupling size (C/B/A/90/100).
