What distinguishes this category is the Burgmer VA/VA seal — no rubber gasket variant. This is a design where both seating surfaces are stainless steel, with no elastomeric seal exposed to abrasion. - KIP — in the tipping silo the same valves operate under pressure when the tank is raised; selection is made to match the body design on the specific trailer.

Common Failure Modes on Feldbinder Silo Trailers

- Leakage in the closed position — in rubber-gasket versions this is most commonly a worn seal; in VA/VA versions, wear or damage to the metal-to-metal seating surfaces.
- Incorrect brand of replacement part — Ebro accessories are not interchangeable with Burgmer or Kraft bodies, and vice versa; the valve brand must be specified when ordering.
- Seized spindle or disc — caused by bulk material ingress or corrosion; presents as resistance when rotating the handle.
- Premature rubber gasket wear — with abrasive materials or elevated temperatures; switching to a VA/VA no-rubber version is often the appropriate solution.
